Spirit Fitness Equipment FAQ!

I am needing technical assistance on my Spirit Fitness Equipment, who should I contact for service?
The dealer that you purchased your fitness equipment from is your administrator for all warranty and service needs. Your first step is to contact your dealer. If you purchased your Spirit equipment from us, simply contact us.
Should you have any problem with your Spirit Fitness Equipment, simply contact us and we will contact a local certified technician in your area for service.

What if I need replacement parts for my Spirit product?
If you are out of warranty and you can no longer contact your dealer, you may purchase replacement parts directly from Spirit Manufacturing.

What information should I be prepared to give to Spirit's Service Department?
In order to better assist you, please provide the model and serial number for your fitness equipment as well as your name, phone number, your dealer name and a brief description of the problem.

Where do I locate the serial number on my treadmill?
Your serial number is located on the front lower base of the treadmill printed on a burgundy sticker. Please provide all numbers and or letters printed on this sticker. In most cases the first three numbers of the serial number indicates the model. Example - 22539409003333 - This is an SR225 treadmill.

Is there any General Maintenance I need to perform on my Spirit Treadmill?
Use a soft, damp cloth or paper towel to wipe the edge of the belt and the area between the belt edge and frame. This should be done once a month to extend belt and bed life. Use water only - No cleaners or abrasives. A mild soap and water solution along with a nylon scrub brush will clean the top of the textured belt. Allow to Dry Before Using. Also, vacuum underneath your treadmill to prevent buildup. Once a year you should remove the black motor hood and vacuum dirt that may accumulate.

What should I lubricate the belt and deck with and how often?
Do not re-lubricate your belt and deck with anything other than Spirit Lubrication. If the treadmill is kept reasonably clean it is possible to expect over 1000 hours before relubing is necessary. You may purchase a Spirit Lubrication Kit from us.
